2. The Bid data should be filled and the Bid Seals (Hashes) of all the envelopes and the documents which are to be uploaded by the bidders should be submitted online between 22-10-2012 at 20:15 to 24-11-2012 at 17:30 The Contractors shall submit the qualification information in the prescribed Performa for assessment of eligibility in online with separate online Envelope –A & Envelope- C.
3. Since, the bids for the tender are required to be digitally signed using Class III digital certificate of the authorized representative of the firm, Contractors are advised to obtain the same at the earliest. Further information on the same may be obtained from, Executive Engineer Gwalior Municipal Corporation (GMC), Gwalior.
4. The Earnest Money Deposit Envelope (Envelope - A) shall be opened online 29-11-2012 at 10:30 to 29-11-2012 at 17:30 in the presence of any intending contractors or their representatives, if they choose to be present. After assessment of eligibility of the bidder by the competent authority , Envelope – 'C' (Price Bid in Envelope – 'C') of only qualified Contractors shall be opened online between 29.11.2012 -10:30 to 29.11.2012 -17:30 The Start Date & Time and the End Date & Time of opening of Price Bid envelope mentioned in the Tender schedule is tentative and subject to change.
5. Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.11,000/- in the shape of F.D.R./S.T.D.R./ issued by any Nationalized / Indian Scheduled Bank or any Nationalized / Indian Scheduled Bank of Madhya Pradesh or other States payable at Gwalior (M.P.) in favor of Commissioner, Gwalior Municipal Corporation(M.P.) shall only be accepted.
6. All documents / certificates required to be submitted online in Envelope 'A' and in Envelope 'C' must be submitted compulsorily. In case of any dispute, the decision of officer who is competent to decide the pre-qualification will be final. Documents required to be submitted by the Bidders, if any (not applicable to price bid) should reach for verification in the Commissioner Gwalior Municipal Corporation (GMC), Gwalior up to 27.11.2012 - 17:30 List of Documents so submitted must be uploaded online.
7. For obtaining other details of works or site visit contractor/ firm are requested to contact Superintendent Engineer Gwalior Municipal Corporation (GMC), Gwalior.
8. Due to unforeseen condition if the opening date of EMD is declare as a holiday , then in that case bids will be open on next working day at same time and place.
9. GMC will not be responsible for any delay in receiving the Bid Documents and reserves the right to accept/reject any or all Bids without assigning any reasons thereof.
10. The GMC reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, and to cancel the Bidding process and reject all Bids, at any time prior to the award of Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders or any obligation to inform the affected Bidder or Bidders of the grounds for the Employer's action.
11. Any bid not accompanied by an acceptable Bid Security as indicated in NIT as above shall be rejected by the Employer as non-responsive.
12. Any effort by the Bidder to influence the Employer in the Employer's bid evaluation, bid comparison or contract award decisions may result in the rejection of the Bidders' bid.
13. The Period of Completion of above tender shown as above of conceding work and the defect Liability period shall be 3 Years from completion date. The contractor shall be responsible for operation & maintenance of the above work during contract period three year.
