HBA; state wise seniority list and combined state wise eligibility list for 2010-11 published

In Circular No.87/2010/Fin dated 10/09/2010 Government have published the state wise seniority list and combined state wise eligibility list of HBA for 2010-11.

The combined state wise seniority list of applicants is attached as Annexure –I and combined state wise eligibility list as per budget provision as Annexure II.

The eligibility list includes 645 applicants and the cumulative total amount of HBA sanctioned for 2010-11 is 30,10,78,544.

The Department wise allotment letter enclosing the list of applicants will be issued separately.

SLI Loan; instalements for repayment increased.

In G.O (P) No.460/2010/Fin dated 18/08/2010 Government have enhanced the number of monthly instalments for repayment of the SLI loan sanctioned to policy holders from 20 to 36 instalments. Sanction is also accorded to adjust the balance, if any, outstanding in the existing loan from the new loan availed as in the case of GPF.

Traveling Allowance; reimbursement of user fee levied at airports

In G.O (P) No.480/2010/Fin dated 9/9/2010 Government have ordered that officers who perform air travel as part of official duties and transfer can claim User Fee levied at the airports along with their TA claims subject to the production of receipt from the concerned airport authority, if not charged along with the airfare.

New Schedule for GIS deduction for SDOs

In Circular No.82/2010/Fin dated 3/9/2010 Government introduced a revised schedule for deduction of GIS subscription in respect of SDOs. As per the circular all SDOs were directed to use the revised schedule for deduction of the month of October onwards.

Indian Rupee Symbol
Orders to use new Symbol for the Indian Rupee in Treasury forms

In G.O (P) No.498/10/Fin dated 20/09/2010 Government have accorded sanction to use the symbol for Indian Rupees in T.R forms in Kerala Treasury Code Volume II and also to substitute the symbol in K.T.C Volume I and II wherever the symbol of Indian Rupee appear.

Crediting of DA arrear to PF; time-limit extended

In G.O (P) No.464/2010/Fin dated 27/08/2010, Government have ordered that the time limit for crediting the arrears of DA sanctioned from 1.1.2008, 1.7.2008, 1.1.2009, 1.7.2009 to the PF account of the employee will be extended up to 19.11.2010. The DA arrears can be claimed in the salary bill up to November 2010 and credited to PF account without fail.
