| Siddhartha Shankar Roy, veteran Congress leader and Ex, Chief Minister of West Bengal breathed his last at about 18.45 hours on 06.11.2010 at his residence at No. 2, Beltala Road. The mortal remains of the veteran leader will be kept in state at his residence from 11.00 hours to 13.00 hours on 07.11.2010 for public to pay their last respect. The funeral procession of the deceased will depart from 2, Beltala Road for Assembly House at about 13.00 hrs. on 07.11.2010. The funeral procession will then go to High Court, Dr. B.C.Roy Club House and Chittaranjan Sishu Seva Sadan, Bhowanipore. Keeping in view of the above programme, it is expected that the leaders of different Political Parties including Congress and other dignitaries may attend the said funeral procession on the day (07.11.2010). Information received indicates that a foot procession with mortal remains of the deceased will be taken out from Chittaranjan Seva Sadan towards Keoratalala Burning Ghat. | ||
