C.M. condoles demise of former West Bengal Chief Minister

Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister expressed grief over the demise of former West Bengal Chief Minister Shri Siddhartha Shankar Ray who passed away at his South Kolkata residence yesterday after a prolonged illness. He was 90.

Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. He also prayed the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss. He said that Shri Ray was a veteran s\leader and a former Punjab Governor who also served as the Indian Ambassador to the US. He said that the services rendered by Shri Ray in various capacities would always be remembered by the people of the country especially the people of West Bengal.
